Lavrov and Moroccan FM Discuss Bilateral Agenda and Regional Situation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita held a meeting on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 80th UN General Assembly session, focusing on bilateral relations and efforts to resolve crises in Africa and the Middle East through political and diplomatic means.

 

The Russian foreign ministry reported that the ministers discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda, including the schedule for upcoming contacts at various levels. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to maintaining effective foreign policy coordination to address ongoing crises in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Sahel-Saharan region by relying on fundamental principles and norms of international law, emphasizing the central role of the United Nations.
