Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived on Tuesday on a working visit to Islamabad, the TASS correspondent reports.
The Russian Minister arrived in Islamabad from New Delhi. He was greeted at the gangway by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi as a sign of special respect for the guest.
This is Lavrov's first visit to Pakistan since 2012. On Wednesday, the Russian Foreign Minister will hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart and the country's top political and military leadership.
