Russia and Kazakhstan are linked by relations of strategic partnership and cooperation based on traditions of friendship and mutual respect. This is stated in a welcoming speech by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the participants of the 9th Industrial Exhibition Expo-Russia Kazakhstan 2021, which is held in Almaty.

"Russia and Kazakhstan are united by relations of strategic partnership and cooperation based on traditions of friendship, mutual respect and trust. "Over the past years they have proven to be an effective platform for demonstration of achievements, exchange of experience, establishing of mutually beneficial contacts", said Lavrov. He also expressed the hope that the implementation of the exhibition program will allow its participants to come up with new joint initiatives and projects to improve the well-being of the citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan.
