Negotiations are currently underway in Moscow regarding the extension and broadening of Russian grain exports to Tunisia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov disclosed this information during a press conference held after discussions with Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar.
"We have discussed the potential for expanding our procurement of Russian grain," - he pointed out. - "In fact, the initial shipment has already been successfully delivered to Tunisia."
The Russian foreign minister highlighted that the Tunisian delegation includes the head of their national grain company, who is currently engaged in pertinent discussions with the Russian ministry of agriculture regarding the terms for future Russian grain supplies and their potential expansion.
