The number of fatalities in Lebanon resulting from Israeli strikes has risen to 687 since the recent escalation began, including 98 children. This update was provided by the country’s Information Minister, Paul Morcos.
"The death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression stands at 687, including 98 children and 52 women," the ministry stated in a report carried by Al Jazeera. Morcos also noted that 15 medical workers are among those killed in the strikes.
A day prior, the Lebanese Ministry of Health had reported 634 deaths and over 1,500 injuries since military actions intensified on March 2.
