Magomedsalam Magomedov: Russia Is Ready to Share Experience with the Islamic World

16 May

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia, Magomedsalam Magomedov, spoke at the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World,” dedicated to the theme “The Experience of Russia and the Islamic World in Youth Policy: Common Challenges and Joint Actions.”

“Youth shape the future not only of individual nations but of the global order as a whole. Their worldview depends on our ability to offer a positive agenda and respond to pressing issues—such as historical distortion, identity crises, and the influence of information warfare,” he emphasized.

Magomedov highlighted that Russia is actively and systematically working to strengthen interethnic unity. The majority of Russian citizens positively assess the state of interethnic and interfaith relations, with these figures being even higher in the Republic of Tatarstan.

“Unity is the core of our national identity and the foundation of values such as mutual support, justice, historical memory, and generational continuity,” he said, citing President Vladimir Putin. He added that Russia’s ethnic and religious diversity is one of its greatest strengths—especially in the face of external challenges.

“Only through respect, dialogue, and tradition can we build a sustainable and peaceful future,” Magomedov stressed, reaffirming Russia’s readiness to deepen cooperation with countries of the Islamic world, share expertise, and launch joint initiatives.
