The Malian government has called for action to prevent destabilization from Ukrainian embassies operating in the Sahel region. According to a communiqué reported by aBamako, Malian authorities are concerned about the potential for destabilization originating from these embassies, which they allege may involve terrorists posing as diplomats.
Mali's government urged regional and international organizations, as well as nations supporting Ukraine, to take measures against Ukrainian support for terrorism. The communiqué asserts that Mali views backing Ukraine "as an endorsement of international terrorism."
The Transitional Government of Mali also voiced "support for Russia's position on the Ukrainian authorities, which it characterizes as neo-Nazi and allied with international terrorism, contrary to the desires of the Ukrainian people for peace and stability."
