Deputy Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World”, Assistant to the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi.
The meeting took place as part of the Tatarstan delegation's participation in the Russia-Oman International Business Forum.
During the meeting, Marat Gatin told the Minister about the work of the Tatarstan delegation at the business forum, noted the visit to Oman of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Investment Development Agency, and representatives of the IT sector.
Gatin noted that the Tatarstan delegation actively participated in the work of the forum, and also held a number of bilateral meetings with Omani colleagues.
In addition, Marat Gatin spoke about his meeting with Dr. Habib Al-Riyami, a Member of the General Assembly of Oman, Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science. He noted that at the meeting with Mr. al-Riyami, they discussed cooperation between Russia and Oman in the framework of the activities of the GSV, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, the topic of the upcoming visit to Russia of the Minister of Waqfs and Religious Affairs of Oman, as well as his visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, was highlighted.
