Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will visit Turkey on September 18 for official talks.
According to Anadolu Agency, the agenda for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan features a formal reception ceremony, talks, and a dinner with Abbas. Notably, the Palestinian leader’s visit was not officially announced in advance.
The leaders are expected to discuss the current situation in Gaza and Israeli actions. Another key topic will be representing Palestinian interests at the UN General Assembly, which Abbas and his delegation are unable to attend due to the US denying them visas.
