Israeli special forces shot and killed three Palestinians in the West Bank city of Jenin, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Friday.
According to its sources, Israeli soldiers shot at a car in an eastern neighborhood of the city. Three Palestinians in the car were killed.
It is indicated that there were clashes in the same area in which Israeli soldiers opened fire on local residents. At least 10 people were wounded and taken to hospital. In addition, the military conducted a search of a house in the neighborhood.
Al Arabiya TV channel broadcasting from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) noted that the killing of Shireen Abu Akleh, a reporter for the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera, has been a source of tension in Jenin in the past few days. She was fatally wounded on May 11 while covering an army raid on a refugee camp in Jenin during which clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians broke out.
