Media: Nuclear Facilities in Isfahan Province Deemed Safe

19 April

Iran's Tasnim news agency has reported that nuclear facilities in Isfahan province are completely safe, according to agency sources. No accidents have been recorded at these nuclear infrastructure facilities.

The agency emphasized that reports from some foreign media outlets regarding an incident at the nuclear facility in Isfahan are not accurate.

Earlier, ABC TV channel, citing a US official, reported that Israel had launched a missile strike on a facility within Iran.

Fars Agency previously reported an explosion in Isfahan province, located in the central part of the country. The explosion may have occurred in the northeast of the province near Isfahan International Airport and the army air force base. Investigations into its causes are ongoing.

On the evening of April 13, Iran launched drones and missiles towards Israel, citing "numerous crimes," including an attack allegedly attributed to Israel on the consular section of Iran's embassy in Damascus. Iranian state media stated that the strikes on Israel targeted military sites. The Israel Defense Forces reported intercepting 99 percent of approximately 300 Iranian projectiles aimed at the Jewish state, resulting in minor damage to the Nevatim air base.
