Media: Syrian Arab Airlines to resume flights to Moscow starting April 3

29 March 2021

Syria's national carrier, Syrian Arab Airlines, will resume flights on the Damascus-Moscow-Damascus route on April 3, the Syrian news agency SANA reported on Monday with reference to the Ministry of Transport of the Arab Republic.

According to the agency, the flights on this route will be operated weekly on Saturdays.

Russia's federal coronavirus operation headquarters informed on Thursday that Russia will resume regular passenger flights with Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka starting April 1.

In March 2020, Russia suspended all commercial passenger flights abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic. A phased restoration of international flights began last summer.
