Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" and Rais of Tatarstan, celebrated one of the main Muslim holidays, Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The Mufti also read a congratulatory message from the Rais of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov noted the significant status of the republic's ancient capital: "This year, our ancient Kazan celebrates Eid al-Fitr with a special status – the cultural capital of the Islamic world. And we appeal to our numerous co-religionists to do everything possible to strengthen the unity of the Muslim ummah, develop civilizational and cultural dialogue, and unite all people of good will around enduring moral values".

The location of the festival serves as a testament to the deep historical roots of Islam in Tatarstan. The cultural heritage site "Mosque, Early 20th Century" in the village of Aybash in the republic's Vysokogorsky District is a unique example of wooden architecture, brought back to life after many years of neglect.

For the residents of Aybash and the surrounding villages, the mosque has always been more than just an architectural monument, but a spiritual heart. The building belongs to the type of mosque known in architectural theory as "Tatar". Its slender proportions, graceful tall minaret, and unique details make it a true gem of religious architecture. This mosque became a model for many modern wooden mosques built in the post-Soviet period across Russia.

The history of the village of Bolshoy Aybash dates back to the Kazan Khanate. According to the "Bulletin of the Mohammedan Parishes of the Kazan Province," a Muslim community arose here around 1590. At the beginning of the 20th century, a new building was erected to replace the dilapidated mosque — the very same one that reopened today after restoration. Renovated but retaining its soul, the mosque is once again ready to welcome parishioners.

The Secretariat of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" also joined in the congratulations. On its behalf, the Group's Chairman, Rustam Minnikhanov, and Deputy Chairman, Marat Gatin, addressed fellow believers. The address emphasized the unifying mission of the holiday and the importance of intercultural dialogue:

"This bright and long-awaited holiday unites Muslims around the world, filling their hearts with joy, gratitude, and a yearning for spirituality. Since time immemorial, it has symbolized mercy, generosity, caring for others, and fidelity to high moral ideals passed down from generation to generation".

The Group's Secretariat expressed confidence that creative activities to develop dialogue between cultures and peoples serve to strengthen mutual trust and harmony, contributing to the preservation of the best traditions:

"This is precisely the essence of the work we are conducting together within the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World", which unites the regions of Russia and the states of the Islamic world in a shared commitment to partnership and mutual respect".

In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov wished all Muslims good health, peace of mind, peace, and harmony.
