Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" Rustam Minnikhanov expressed condolences to Presidents of Turkey and Syria Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar al-Assad in connection with the numerous victims of the earthquake.
"It is with deep sorrow that the Republic of Tatarstan received the news of the devastating earthquake in the Republic of Turkey. Please accept our deepest condolences on the casualties and massive destruction. Please convey my words of sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of the victims and my wishes for the speedy recovery of all those who have been injured. We sincerely share the sorrow of these losses and grieve together with you and the brotherly people of Turkey," Minnikhanov addressed Erdogan.
"Please accept deep condolences for the tragic consequences of the earthquake in northern Syria. Please convey words of sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to all those who were injured as a result of this natural disaster. We share the sorrow of these losses and mourn with you and the people of Syria," reads the message addressed to Bashar al-Assad.
