Mirziyoyev Expresses Condolences to Putin Over Dagestan Terror Attacks

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin condemning the terrorist attacks in Derbent and Makhachkala and expressing condolences for the numerous victims among law enforcement officers and civilians. This was reported by Mirziyoyev's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.

 

"President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a telegram to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with deep condolences regarding the terrorist acts in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, which resulted in numerous casualties among law enforcement officers and civilians. The leader of Uzbekistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Dagestan and expressed readiness to continue active cooperation between the relevant structures in combating these challenges," Asadov stated.
