Mishustin Affirms Commitment to Strengthening Russia-Turkmenistan Relations

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent his congratulations to Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the republic’s Independence Day, celebrated on September 27. The message was published by the official newspaper Neytralny Turkmenistan.

 

"I would like to express my satisfaction with the steady strengthening of Russian-Turkmen relations based on friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership. I confirm my readiness to continue active joint work at the governmental level to further enhance all areas of practical cooperation. This fully aligns with the interests of both Russia and Turkmenistan," Mishustin wrote.

 

He praised Turkmenistan’s achievements under Berdimuhamedov’s leadership, noting the country's significant progress in socio-economic development and improvements in citizens' welfare. Mishustin highlighted the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, the growing industrial capacity, and the advancements in cultural and educational spheres. He wished the president good health, well-being, and continued success in his state activities, while also extending his best wishes for happiness and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.

 

Turkmenistan celebrated the 33rd anniversary of its independence on September 27, which was declared a public holiday.
