Mishustin: Russia and Kazakhstan Will Always Remember Their Shared Sacrifice and Victory

28 July

Russia and Kazakhstan will never forget their shared sacrifice and the victory achieved together in the Great Patriotic War, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said following the opening of a branch of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at Dostoevsky Omsk State University.

After the event, Mishustin recalled recently visiting a war veterans' hospital, where the father of Kazakhstan's leader, Kemel Tokayev, was treated during the war. “There were major news stories about this. It’s heartening to know that our doctors were able to care for the family of the Kazakh president. We will always honor our joint sacrifice and our victory in the Great Patriotic War,” Mishustin stated.
