Moscow Days to Take Place in Dubai on December 11–12

11 December

A series of events aimed at strengthening economic and interregional cooperation between Moscow and the United Arab Emirates will be held in Dubai on December 11–12, organizers announced. The program is coordinated by Moscow’s Department for External Economic and International Relations (DVMS) and the Moscow Center for International Cooperation (MCMS).

“The Moscow Days in Dubai strengthen the partnership between the two global cities and promote the development of joint economic, technological, cultural, and humanitarian initiatives,” the statement said.

The central event of the program will be the business forum “Moscow–Dubai: Cities of a Sustainable Future.” The forum’s plenary session will be moderated by Moscow Government Minister and DVMS Head Sergey Cheremin. Participants will include representatives of international business associations, export organizations, and senior executives of high-tech companies specializing in information systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, and digital platforms.

The forum’s main theme focuses on new and promising directions for interregional partnership. “Participants will discuss practical steps to boost trade turnover and investment flows between Moscow and the Emirates,” the announcement notes. “Special attention will be given to strengthening technological and economic cooperation, including joint projects in high-tech industries. Another key topic will be the development of financial infrastructure to support the stability and efficiency of bilateral economic relations.”

On December 12, a plenary session titled “Compatriots Today: Work, Goals, and Prospects” will take place, focusing on Moscow’s role in supporting Russian nationals living abroad. Sergey Cheremin will take part in the discussion, which will address expanding multilateral cooperation, supporting cultural initiatives, strengthening humanitarian ties, and developing long-term programs for engagement with the Russian diaspora.

The cultural portion of the program will conclude with a gala concert featuring the Moscow Youth Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Valery Vorona, and the Russian folk song ensemble Lyubo-Milo. The concert will serve as a cultural highlight of the Moscow Days, underlining the importance of humanitarian cooperation.

As part of the visit, Sergey Cheremin will also attend the plenary session of the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russia–UAE Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation. In addition, he will participate in the plenary session of the Russia–UAE Business Forum “Architecture of Long-Term Growth: New Opportunities for Both Countries.”
