The authorities of Kazakhstan have created comfortable conditions for attracting foreign business and localization of production, so Russian companies can enter the market of the republic and invest in it, Chairman of the manufacturing industry committee of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Oleg Pak said on Friday.
"Kazakhstan has created and continues to create opportunities for the localization of production. The state policy encourages investments and new technologies. Those support measures that exist in Kazakhstan are rarely available anywhere else. There are great opportunities for opening new production facilities, they are opened in part by Russian enterprises. I would like to invite business from Russia, 'Come here and invest'", he said at the expert discussion "Shifting priorities in Russia's foreign industrial policy and new markets. Topical areas of partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan", which was held as part of Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.
As examples of cooperation, Pak, who spoke via video conference from the on-site studio in Astana, cited joint projects with such major companies as Eurochem, Tatneft and Sibur.
