Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party of Türkiye Nihat Zeybekci first visited the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014, when he was the Turkish Minister of Economy. He has close friendly relations with the Rais of the Republic and the Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision (Group) "Russia - Islamic World" Rustam Minnikhanov. Mr. Zeybekci spoke about this during the International Economic Summit "KazanForum 2025".
"Every visit to Kazan amazes me. Because I see dynamic development - both in terms of infrastructure, economy, and society as a whole," the Turkish politician shared.
Mr. Zeybekci also noted that he accepted the invitation to become a member of the Group with great pleasure. Representatives of the Justice and Development Party of Türkiye participated in meetings and round tables at the forum in Kazan. The focus of the meetings was the topic of youth and the economy.
"For our part, we spoke about the importance of halal certification for young people, who are our future," Zeybekci emphasized. He also expressed gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov and all the organizers of the KazanForum and wished them further success.
Let us recall that during the plenary session of the Group on the topic of “The experience of Russia and the Islamic world in the sphere of youth policy”, Mr. Zeybekci emphasized the importance of the halal industry as a value system.
“In the conditions of ‘wild imperialist capitalism’, halal standards are not only a religious issue, but also a tool for protecting economic interests,” said the Turkish politician.
