Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, in Geneva on February 16, 2026, to finalize preparations for a second round of indirect nuclear negotiations with the United States.
"The ministers emphasized the importance of achieving understanding and consensus to reach an agreement that meets the goals and aspirations of all parties involved," the Omani foreign ministry said in a statement.
