Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given his approval for the appointment of new ambassadors to Russia and China for the Islamic republic.
According to The Express Tribune's report on Tuesday, Khalid Jamali will assume the position of Pakistan's ambassador to Russia, replacing Shafqat Ali Khan, who has served in Moscow since 2020. Khalid Jamali has been associated with the Foreign Ministry since 1995 and has held diplomatic posts in India, Turkey and Belgium.
Furthermore, Khalil Hashmi has been appointed as Pakistan's new ambassador to China.
