22 January

The Palestinian Commission for Prisoners' Affairs has revealed that the number of Palestinians detained by Israeli security forces in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has surpassed 6,000, reaching a total of 6,195. The Commission reported at least 25 citizens were detained overnight, with operations concentrated in Hebron and Jenin, and sporadic campaigns in other areas including Nablus, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.

In a statement published on the commission's official Facebook page (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia), it highlighted that the Israeli forces' campaigns are accompanied by mass raids, brutal beatings, and threats against detainees and their families.
