Russia is actively engaged in discussions with Turkey and other countries in the region concerning the ongoing crisis in Syria, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a press briefing.
"We are maintaining close communication with Ankara and other regional partners regarding developments in Syria, which is currently going through an exceptionally turbulent and unstable phase," Peskov stated when asked about Turkey's involvement in the latest events.
Highlighting the importance of regional cooperation, Peskov remarked, "It is vital to stay in dialogue with all neighboring nations. We are fully committed to this and will continue to consult and evaluate the situation as it unfolds."
