Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov has instructed to explore the possibility of natural gas supplies from the republic to the Middle and Near East, the Turkmenistan Today news agency reported on Wednesday.
According to the agency, Berdymukhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Shakhim Abdrakhmanov to study the issue of gas deliveries through the territory of neighboring countries. The Turkmen leader also instructed Deputy Prime Minister Charymurad Purchekov to hold talks with interested countries on the supply of electricity produced in the republic.
