Prime Minister of Burkina Faso to Visit Russia

The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Apollinaire Joachim Kyelem de Tambela, is scheduled to visit Russia in October 2024. This announcement was made by the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Russia, Aristide R. L. Tapsoba, during a meeting with the Governor of the Novosibirsk region, Andrey Travnikov, which took place within the framework of the “Technoprom-2024” forum.

 

Ambassador Tapsoba emphasized the significance of the "Russian Houses" in African countries, stating that they contribute to a unified approach and shared perspective on political issues that unite Russia and Burkina Faso in their fight against a common enemy. He added, "Our Prime Minister, who is coming in October, would welcome the establishment of twinning ties between Burkina Faso and Novosibirsk."

 

Additionally, the "Days of Burkina Faso Economy in the Russian Federation" will be held in Moscow from October 8-11.

 

The XI International Forum of Technological Development “Technoprom-2024” is being held in Novosibirsk from August 27-30, with the key theme for 2024 being the “Transformation of Science and Technology into a Key Factor of Socio-Economic and Spatial Development of Russia.” TASS is the general information partner of the event.
