03 December

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his congratulations to participants and guests celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, underscoring its significant achievements within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). His message was shared on the Kremlin’s website.

“The fund has become a key driver of economic growth and social development in Kyrgyzstan, significantly contributing to the EAEU’s integration efforts,” Putin noted. “Since its inception in 2014, the fund has supported around 3,500 projects with total investments exceeding $750 million. These initiatives have enabled thousands of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to realize their ambitions, creating over 10,000 new jobs across the country.”

Putin emphasized that the fund’s establishment marked an important milestone in strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. He stressed the need to continue supporting Kyrgyzstan’s industrial, agricultural, energy, and tourism sectors, while fostering closer cooperation between Russian investors and Kyrgyz businesses.

“Over the years, the fund has proved its value, solidifying its status as a leading financial and investment institution in Kyrgyzstan and earning the respect of business communities and international organizations alike,” he said.

The president expressed confidence in the fund’s ability to play a pivotal role in modernizing Kyrgyzstan’s economy and backing innovative projects in key sectors.

“I wish the fund’s board, management, staff, and partners continued success and all the best,” Putin concluded.
