Russia and Egypt Condemn Expansion of Middle East Conflict

Moscow and Cairo have expressed their strong opposition to the escalation of violence in the Middle East, particularly in light of the recent surge in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.



According to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, met with Egyptian Ambassador Nazih el-Nagari. During the meeting, both sides engaged in a frank discussion about pressing Middle East issues, emphasizing their shared stance against the spread of conflict to other countries in the region.



The conversation also covered the ongoing development of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Egypt, including the importance of maintaining active political dialogue.
