Russia and Iran discuss registration and circulation of medical products

Roszdravnadzor discussed with representatives of Islamic Republic of Iran issues of registration and circulation of medical products in Russia and Iran. This was reported on Friday by the press service of the Russian agency.


"Deputy head of Roszdravnadzor Dmitry Pavlyukov held talks with representatives of the Center for Progress and Development of Iran Presidency and the Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The parties discussed issues of registration and circulation of medical products in Russia and Iran and noted the similarity of the main approaches in this area," the report says.


The participants of the meeting outlined their common intention on the convergence of approaches and practices in the field of testing. The press service of Roszdravnadzor noted that in future this will allow laboratories of the two countries to trust the results obtained.


On April 19, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko met with Iranian Vice President Soren Sattari in Moscow. They discussed bilateral cooperation in the production and supply of medicines and medical products.
