The number of regular flights between Russia and Kyrgyzstan will increase in the near future. This is stated in a statement published on Tuesday by the Russian embassy in Bishkek.
"The number of air flights between Russia and Kyrgyzstan is increasing," the statement said.
In the near future, in particular, Ural Airlines will increase the number of flights from Russia to airports in the Kyrgyz cities of Bishkek and Osh, as well as to the Tamchi airport located on the coast of the Issyk-Kul resort lake.
Currently the Russian airlines such as Aeroflot, S7, Nordwind, and Ural Airlines and the Kyrgyz Air Traffic company fly from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, as well as in the opposite direction.
Direct flights from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Astrakhan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Perm, Ufa, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi, Irkutsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Chelyabinsk and Vladikavkaz to Kyrgyzstan will be available in the near future.
Regular flights between the two countries were suspended in the spring of 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. It was fully restored this spring.
