Russia and Pakistan reached conceptual agreements on supplies of oil and oil products to this Asian country, Deputy Energy Minister Sergei Mochalnikov said, speaking at the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

"We have reached conceptual agreements on the supply of oil and oil products to Pakistan. Also, a lot of groundwork has been done in the part of energy and power engineering," he said.

According to Mochalnikov, the parties also discussed the implementation of the Pakistan Stream project. As a result of the talks, they managed to find answers to the questions that had previously been raised on the project.

"They were answered in detail. Today the concept of Pakistan's gas supply was presented. And we need to see the place of Pakistan Stream in this concept as soon as possible," the deputy minister added.
