Russia-Jordan Visa Waiver Agreement to Take Effect December 13

31 October

An agreement on the mutual cancellation of visa requirements between Russia and Jordan will come into force on December 13, 2025, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced.

The agreement, signed in Moscow on August 20, 2025, grants citizens of both nations visa-free entry for short-term visits.

According to the ministry, Russian citizens will be permitted to enter and stay in Jordan for up to 30 days per visit, provided they do not intend to work, conduct business, study, or reside permanently in the country. The total duration of stay must not exceed 90 days within any calendar year.

The Jordanian side is granted equivalent rights for visits to the Russian Federation, the foreign ministry added.
