Russia reaffirmed its redyness to strengthen security in the Central African Republic

Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov visited Bangui, where he met with the President of the Central African Republic Foten-Arcange Tuadera.

 

 

The parties, as noted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website, discussed topical issues in Russian-Central African relations and prospects for further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.

 

 

At the same time, the Central African side expressed interest in Russian assistance in the socio-economic development of the CAR’s, trainging national personnel and strengthening security. At the same time, the Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to continue supporting the promotion of the African Initiative for the establishment of peace and security in the Central African Republic.
