The supply of goods and services to Russia from Uzbekistan increased by 20.3% over the nine months of this year and reached $4.4 billion, thanks to which it remains in first place in the structure of the republic's exports. This was reported on Friday by the press service of the state statistics committee of Uzbekistan.
"Russia keeps the first place in Uzbekistan's exports this year, the volume of supplies of products and services to Russia in the first nine months of 2022 increased 1.48 times - to $2.164 billion, accounting for 15.5% of total exports," the report said. In this case, the share of Russia in total foreign trade turnover is 18.2%, giving way only to China, which has this figure equal to 18.8%, following Kazakhstan, which accounts for 9.1% of foreign trade turnover.
Uzbekistan mainly exports textile and fruit and vegetable products to Russia, and imports industrial products.
