Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov met with his Iranian counterpart Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli to discuss the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, the Russian Embassy in Beijing reported.
The meeting took place during a courtesy visit by the Iranian envoy to the Russian diplomatic mission. The two ambassadors discussed the situation surrounding Israel’s military strikes on Iranian territory, including potential international efforts to help de-escalate the conflict, according to a statement published on the embassy’s official Telegram channel.
They also exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.
