Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Egyptian Ambassador to Moscow Nazih El-Nagari held a meeting to discuss the outcomes of the Russia-Africa summit that took place in St. Petersburg on July 27-28. The details of their discussion were reported on the website of the Russian ministry of foreign affairs.
"During the conversation, significant attention was dedicated to discussing the second Russia-Africa summit, which took place on July 27-28 in St. Petersburg. The focus was on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit," emphasized the ministry.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed crucial aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, including the developments in Sudan, Libya, and the Palestinian territories, as stated by the Russian MFA.
The meeting was held at the request of the Egyptian diplomat.
