Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UAE Ambassador to Moscow Mohammed Ahmed al-Jaber discussed the situation in Syria, Yemen and the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.
"There was an exchange of views on some regional topics with a focus on the situation in Yemen, Syria and the Persian Gulf zone," the Russian MFA said in a statement.
The Russian foreign ministry reported that during the conversation the parties discussed topical issues of further progressive development of the traditionally friendly multifaceted Russia-UAE ties.
