Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Egyptian Ambassador to Moscow Nazih Nagari discussed priority issues of further strengthening of multifaceted bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation at a meeting on Monday.
"Priority issues of further strengthening of multifaceted Russian-Egyptian mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.
The ministry informed that the sides discussed topical aspects of the development of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa region during the conversation.
