Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister, discussed the further development of ties between the two countries on Friday at a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Moscow Abdel Rahman Al-Ahmed.
"Priority issues of the further development of multifaceted Russian-Saudi ties including maintaining an active political dialogue on topical regional issues with a focus on the situation in the Persian Gulf zone were discussed," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
