Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and UAE Ambassador in Moscow Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber discussed on Thursday the development of bilateral relations and the situation in Yemen and Libya.
"During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of progressive development of traditionally friendly Russia-UAE relations, including coordination of principled foreign policy stances at international platforms," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement. - "There was also an exchange of opinions on topical issues of the Middle East, with emphasis on the situation in Yemen and Libya."
The meeting was held at the request of the Emirati side.
