Russian Embassy in Pakistan Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Balochistan

02 February

The Russian Embassy in Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation following a series of terrorist attacks carried out by militants in the southwestern province of Balochistan between January 31 and February 1.

"We emphasize the necessity of combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We hope that the organizers of these heinous attacks will be identified and brought to justice," the diplomatic mission stated in a commentary published on its Telegram channel. The embassy also extended its heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, wishing a swift recovery to all those injured.

According to reports from Balochistan authorities, Pakistani security forces have eliminated at least 145 terrorists over the past two days while repelling a massive assault by the "Balochistan Liberation Army," a separatist militant group. Official figures indicate that the violence claimed the lives of 31 civilians and 17 security personnel.
