There have been no mass outbreaks of dengue fever in Indonesia, including among Russian citizens. As the Russian Embassy told TASS, only isolated cases have been reported, and those affected have received assistance.
“According to local authorities, there are no reports of mass dengue fever infections among foreign nationals, including Russian citizens, in Indonesia,” the embassy stated.
The embassy also explained that outbreaks of this disease typically occur every year during the rainy season. “At the moment, the number of reported infections remains low and does not exceed average seasonal levels,” the statement added.
“The embassy has received only a few individual requests for assistance from Russian nationals on this matter. Russian citizens are receiving the necessary consular support, including consultations and help establishing contact with local medical facilities,” the embassy said.
