Russia is extremely concerned about missile attacks on the Afghan capital, the comment of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, distributed on Monday, reads.
"We express extreme concern in connection with massive rocket attacks on Kabul by militants of "Islamic State" (ISIS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia) on November 21. Residential houses and a hospital were in the zone of attack, 10 people were killed and more than 50 wounded", she noted.
The diplomat added that Russia expects that the government of Afghanistan and leadership of foreign military contingents in the country "will make every effort to find and bring to justice the perpetrators of the terrorist action".
"Once again, we draw the attention of the international community to the seriousness of the threat posed by the terrorist group ISIS and its Afghan branch. We believe it is necessary to take coordinated and decisive action to eradicate it," she stressed.
