Crews of the Russian Knights aerobatics team flew to Dubai (United Arab Emirates (UAE)), where they will demonstrate the capabilities of Su-30SM fighters at the Dubai Airshow 2021, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"During the airshow, Air and Space Forces crews will perform flights in a formation and demonstrate the super maneuvering capabilities of the latest Su-30SM fighters. Pilots of the Russian Knights aerobatic team will perform group aerobatics, such as "Nesterov loop", "barrel roll", "turn" at specified intervals and distances, as well as pair, solo and counter aerobatics. The pilots will demonstrate the most spectacular elements, such as figures "mirror", "bell", the dissolution, as well as a passage at low altitude and extremely low speed," the statement said.
The group flew on fighters from Kubinka near Moscow, the pilots will make one intermediate landing during the flight. The IL-76 military transport aircraft will deliver engineering and aviation service specialists and engineering equipment to the site of the international exhibition.
Dubai Airshow 2021 will be held in Dubai from November 14 to 18.
