A Russian diplomatic mission in Libya will be opened in the near future, there is a candidate for an ambassador to be announced shortly, Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Presidential Special Envoy to the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, said on Monday.
"We are reopening our embassy in Libya. I think in the near future," he told reporters. "You will find out about appointing an ambassador in the near future," Bogdanov noted.
