Russia's chief military prosecutor discussed the work of military prosecutors of both countries in Syria

Russia's chief military prosecutor visited Syria on instructions from Russian prosecutor general Igor Krasnov, where he discussed the work of military prosecutors of both countries, the press service of the Russian prosecutor general's office told TASS on Wednesday.


"Within the framework of a working visit to Syria on instructions from the Russian prosecutor general, the chief military prosecutor [Valery Petrov] held several meetings with representatives of the armed forces and military justice bodies of Syria, as well as with the command of the group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces stationed in this state. The parties discussed the issues of work of the military prosecutor's offices of both countries," reported in the department.


During the meeting, the parties also noted the mutual interest in developing and strengthening bilateral contacts, as well as in continuing professional dialogue and exchange of experience in supervising the activities of troops during the anti-terrorist operation.
