In 2018, the Russian Islamic Institute held an exhibition of Islamic calligraphy in Abu Dhabi, which was attended by representatives of different Muslim countries. In 2019, a Russian cultural festival was organized in Abu Dhabi, with various cultural events, such as music, dance and art exhibitions.
The group has also promoted educational cooperation between Russian and Emirati universities, for instance, the cooperation between MGIMO and the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology.
