Russia has issued a warning against the continued use of military force in the Middle East, particularly concerning Iran. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated during a webinar series on Russian nuclear policy that Moscow cautions "those who might be tempted to exploit the situation to advance arguments or sentiments favoring further military action."
Regarding Russia's cooperation with Tehran, Ryabkov emphasized that "our military-technical collaboration with Iran will develop strictly in accordance with our legislation and international obligations, which no longer include any previously approved UN Security Council sanctions under the relevant resolutions."
