S7 to Launch Direct Flights to Andijan from Siberian Cities in October

09 September

S7 Airlines is expanding its route network and, from late October, will open regular direct flights from Novosibirsk and Irkutsk to Andijan, the airline’s press office said.

“All flights will be handled by Andijan International Airport, which recently reopened after a major reconstruction. Andijan has substantial tourism potential and is known for its historical and cultural sites. As a major economic and logistics hub, Andijan will also serve as a convenient transfer point for travelers heading to other cities in the Fergana Valley, including Namangan, Fergana, and Osh (Kyrgyz Republic),” the statement said.

S7 Airlines (the brand of Siberia Airlines) is a private Russian carrier. It operates a domestic network centered on hubs in Moscow (Domodedovo), Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo), and Irkutsk. In 2024, nearly 13 million passengers flew with S7 Airlines.
