The second ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum will take place in an African country in 2025, with the third Russia-Africa Summit scheduled for 2026, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced after talks with Zimbabwe’s Foreign Minister Amon Murwira.
“This year, we plan to hold the second ministerial forum in one of the African nations,” Lavrov said.
He also confirmed that preparations are underway for the third Russia-Africa Summit, which is set for 2026.
The first ministerial conference of the forum was held on November 9-10 in Sirius, a federal territory in Russia, and brought together around 1,500 delegates, including 45 African foreign ministers.
